So, I'm home today. Hanging out with the family, since nearly everything within a 50+ mile radius is closed.

A quick update for those of you who don't follow my Twitter feed (and you should be). I have not yet been granted access to my computer at work. The IT folks are still processing my new employment and access forms, which (I'm told) could take up to 10 business days. That means that I might not have said access until the middle of next week. Blergh.

However, the good news is that I seem to be fitting in quite well in my new environs. The people in the office have all been extremely welcoming and friendly, and I feel like I am a breath of fresh air for the place -- since I am the only individual with a Y chromosome (I'm the only man) in my area. Awesome.

SO, since I'm at home today, I'd like to get some posting in (since I haven't in several days). I definitely have something to say about Jack Murtha's passing (thanks Vast), and maybe a couple of other things. If you are in the northeast like Yours Truly, I hope that you are safe and warm.
