Chuck Hagel, seen here being attacked by giant microphones...
The Pennsylvania senatorial race keeps getting more and more interesting...
Pennsylvania Democrat Joe Sestak’s campaign for Senate is getting a much-needed bipartisan boost in a competitive race. The question is: will Pennsylvania voters be swayed by the endorsement of Chuck Hagel? My sense is that the endorsement by a Republican who was routinely labeled a "RINO" by many in his own party will have little-to-no bearing on the overall race.
Former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) will endorse the Democratic nominee at events in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia on Tuesday, according to Sestak’s campaign.

Hagel, who decided not to seek reelection to the Senate in 2008, has a reputation for bucking his own party. He declined to endorse Arizona Sen. John McCain in the 2008 presidential contest, and his wife went a step further by backing Barack Obama.
Hagel and Sestak also share a military background: Hagel is a decorated Vietnam War veteran and Sestak is a retired three-star Navy admiral.
Actually, a better question would be: do Pennsylvania voters know who Chuck Hagel is?
