Quote Of The Day

"Today marks a lot of tragedy. Tragedy comes in threes. Pearl Harbor, Elizabeth Edwards's passing and Barack Obama's announcement of extending the tax cuts, which is good, but also extending the unemployment benefits. The reason I say this is a tragedy is because his announcement of economic recovery was more of a potpourri of sound bytes. It's like he took a little bit of what each party wanted and put it together. It's not a solid plan constructed on sound economic principles." -Christine O'Donnell, comparing the extension of unemployment benefits to the death of Elizabeth Edwards and the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Yeah Christine. They're all on equal footing.

The death of a woman who struggled with cancer and a messy, public divorce from her douchebag cheater of a husband, and an aerial attack on Hawai'i that killed 2,117 American servicemen and women (Navy: 2,008, Marines: 109) and dragged our nation into World War II is the exact same thing as extending benefits the unemployed American workers.

Oh and good news donors! The nearly $1 million that O'Donnell had left-over in her campaign war chest is going to be used to help her form a PAC. So, you've got that going for you...
