President Obama Chooses Rahm's Replacement

The President has made his decision on a new CoS:
President Barack Obama has reached outside his West Wing bubble — but well inside his Chicago comfort zone — to tap moderate former Clinton Commerce Secretary Bill Daley as his chief of staff, a move that will delight the business community but rankle liberals who see Daley as too conservative.

Daley, a 62-year-old bank executive, will replace interim chief of staff Pete Rouse, who will be elevated to the position of counselor to the president, completing a succession process that began when Obama’s first chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, stepped down to run for mayor of Chicago — hoping to replace Daley’s older brother Richard.
My emphasis.

Anyone else a little weirded-out by the web that is being weaved here?
