Sarah Palin Books Speech Opposite GOP Primary Debate

Another indicator that (as I have predicted) Sarah Palin will not run for President in 2012:
After a false start last month, Sarah Palin is again set to headline a May 2 fundraiser in metro Denver.

This time, the former Alaska governor, vice presidential candidate and reality-television personality is scheduled to speak at "Tribute to the Troops with Sarah Palin" at Colorado Christian University.

John Andrews, who leads the Centennial Institute think tank at the Lakewood college, said the school has a signed contract for the event and is prepared to deal with any publicity — positive or negative — that the conservative star might bring with her.

The May 2 date coincides with the scheduled Republican presidential candidates' debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.

That event, to be moderated by Politico editor John Harris and NBC news anchor Brian Williams, is billed as the kickoff to the race for the 2012 GOP nomination for president.

Andrews said he knew of the scheduled debate but didn't think Palin would attend it.
