Ed Schultz Is Gaffe-tastic




By now, you have likely heard Schultz's comments. If not, they are embedded above.

I've never been a fan of his -- mostly because I think that he is no different than Beck or Hannity -- and this does not help his case.

That said, here is Schultz's apology:



I'll give credit where credit is due: This does not appear to be a fake apology. Better still, it's not a non-apology.

Usually, in this type of situation I would expect a politician, pundit or talking-head to say something like, "I'm sorry if I offended you." Instead, Schultz says, "I stand before you tonight to take full responsibility for what I said and how I said it, and I am deeply sorry."

A real apology.

That said, I still won't watch or listen to this guy -- and my guess is that his ratings will plummet after this incident.
