First Image From New James Bond Film, "Skyfall"

The official James Bond website has been updated for the forthcoming Skyfall, the 23rd film in the series inspired by Ian Fleming's books.

You can check it out here.

The official plot synopsis for the film reads:
In Skyfall, Bond's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
The movie stars Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace and, of course, Daniel Craig.

Along with the new website, Eon Productions has released the first image of Daniel Craig as the shaken-martini swilling secret agent:

As a long-time fan of the James Bond franchise, I must say that I have been more-than impressed with Daniel Craig. For a Christmas gift, my brother got me the newer version of Goldeneye 007 for the Nintendo Wii -- and I have been having a blast playing it.

Hopefully the game will be able to hold me over until Skyfall is released in theaters this coming November.
