Ted Nugent To Meet With Secret Service Tomorrow

Congrats Ted! Because of this story, I'm giving you your own label on my site.
Over the weekend, Nugent told a crowd at the National Rifle Association (NRA) convention that their goal “should be to get a couple of thousand people per person who’s here to vote for Mitt Romney in November.”

“If you don’t know that our government is wiping its ass with the Constitution, you’re living under a rock some place. And that there’s a dead soldier, an airman, a Marine, a seaman, a hero of the military that just got his legs blown off for the U.S. Constitution, and we got a president and an attorney general who doesn’t even like the Constitution,” he said, adding that the four left-leaning Supreme Court justices were “like a stoned hippy” because they “don’t believe in the Constitution.”

“And if you want more of those kinds of evil, anti-American people in the Supreme Court then don’t get involved and let Obama take office again. Because I’ll tell you this right now, if Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”
Two quick things...

1) Barack Obama will not "become the president in November" because, well, he already is the President. He'll be re-elected to a second term as President. Duh.

2) Nugent thinks that he "will either be dead or in jail by this time next year" if President Obama is re-elected in November. Well, that could be true, but it would having nothing to do with the President.

Hey Ted, remember in 2008 when you said:
Obama, he's a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.
...while holding two guns in the air? Yeah. If that didn't warrant getting you locked up in Obama's first term... come on.

Anyway, because of Nugent's commentary, the Secret Service is going to have a little chat with him:
Rocker Ted Nugent is set to meet tomorrow with the U.S. Secret Service regarding his controversial remarks about President Obama.

Nugent, who has endorsed Mitt Romney for president, caused a stir with his comments over the weekend about the "vile, evil, America-hating" Obama administration at the National Rifle Association meeting.

Of key interest is Nugent's remark that "if Barack Obama becomes the president in November, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year."

"I'm sure we'll have a great conversation," Nugent said today on Glenn Beck's radio show, according to The Blaze, a website founded by the conservative talk show host.

"Bottom line is, I've never threatened anybody's life in my life. I've never threatened. I don't waste breath threatening," Nugent is quoted as saying. He said the Secret Service "are dedicated and I will be as polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly."
