Governor Chris Christie: #Sandy Is Non-Partisan

You can tell that Governor Chris Christie means business.

In appearances on both MSNBC and Fox News this morning, New Jersey Governor Christie painted a picture of devastation in the Garden State, and had praise for President Obama --

And when Fox & Friends' Steve Doocy tried to get the Governor to talk about Mitt Romney possibly doing some disaster-response-campaigning in New Jersey, Christie quickly and brutally put an end to that line of questioning (2:07 into the clip) --

I have no idea and nor am I the least bit concerned or interested. I've got a job to do here in New Jersey that's much bigger than presidential politics and I could care less about any of that stuff. I have a job to do. I've got 2.4 million people out of power, I've got devastation on the shore, I've got floods in the northern part of my state. If you think that right now I give a damn about presidential politics, then you don't know me.
DAMN. Doocy got his ass handed to him.

I have to commend Christie here, as he is absolutely right. For Doocy to bring politics into the conversation was both crass and, well, stupid. The LAST thing on Christie's mind (or anyone else who is dealing with the effects of the storm) is politics.
